SUMMARY:FALL LIBRARY STORY HOUR
DESCRIPTION:Fall Library Hour is just around the corner at the Pittsfield Youth Library!\nWe will be having a Tuesday class and a Thursday class. The Tuesday class begins Tuesday\, October 11 and the Thursday class begins Thursday\, October 13.\n\nEach class will meet once a week for eight weeks\, ending December 6 and December 8.\n\nWe will not have Library Hour during the week of Thanksgiving.\n\nBoth classes are from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. at the Pittsfield Youth Library. Please use the side door off Adams Street as the front door of the library will be locked.\n\nLibrary Hour is for children ages three (potty-trained\, please) through five years.\n\nFor more information or to sign your child up\, please call the Pittsfield Youth Library at 217-285-5232. Reserve your spot soon as space is limited.\n\nNotice: Your child's participation in any Pittsfield Youth Library programs or events implies your consent for them to be photographed or videotaped during the program. Photos and videos may be used on our website\, Facebook page\, or on other library materials.

SUMMARY:Giving Tree for Seniors
DESCRIPTION:\n\nThe Pittsfield Public Library is sponsoring a Giving Tree for Senior Citizens.\n\nThe tree will be up from November 18th through December 19th. There are 25 tags to be filled so please help these most deserving seniors. When taking a tag from the tree\, please take it to the front desk first so we can write down your name and the tag number.\n\nThis year\, if anyone would like to leave a monetary donation\, the library will pick a gift for you.\n\nAll gifts need to be returned in a gift bag by December 19th.\n\nWe have a list of gift suggestions available at the library.\n\nFor more information\, contact Sara Bernard at the library. 217-285-2200.\n\nThank you for helping us make Christmas a little nicer for a special group people.
