Pittsfield Public Library Mission Statement
The mission of the Pittsfield Public Library is to be a resource center for our area. We strive to serve people in their quest for knowledge, adventure, and lifelong learning. We will provide print and non-print materials along with related services and programming that support the informational, educational, cultural, historical, and educational needs of our community. We believe in freedom for all to read, seek, and enrich their lives.
